Description
The Divine Language is a fictitious
language created by Luc Besson and Milla Jovovich for the film ‘The Fifth Element’,
released in 1997. The language appears to find its roots in many influences, ranging from
Japanese and French to Eastern European and Arabic. While there is no known or
attainable reference for the complete original language, there are a few web-based
sources for the Divine Language, although none are complete, and most are outdated,
mere conjecture or lacking in clarification.
T. Leah Fehr-Thompson and her Collaborative
Team have studied and respectfully organized their predecessors’ knowledge and supposition,
and built upon the speculative root of the Divine Language, using linguistic
and definitive resources, fan contribution, and intuitive inference to bring you
The Divine Language – A Comprehensive
Guide to the Language of Leeloo.**
Complete with pronunciation, grammar, common phrases, dictionary, thesaurus and more, The Divine Language – A Comprehensive Guide offers devoted fans the opportunity to learn, understand, speak, read and write the Divine Language of Leeloo, as an unofficial interpretation by T. Leah Fehr-Thompson and her respected Associates.
